Police Deploy Tight Security for 2026 JAMB CBT in Enugu

The Enugu State Police Command has announced a comprehensive security arrangement for the 2026 Computer-Based Test (CBT) of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), with operatives deployed across all accredited centres in the state.

The commissioner of police, Mamman Bitrus Giwa, ordered the deployment of personnel alongside operational and intelligence resources to ensure a hitch-free examination process.

According to the command, the move aligns with directives from the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, aimed at guaranteeing a safe and conducive environment for candidates, examination officials, and other stakeholders throughout the exercise.

Police operatives assigned to the centres have been instructed to maintain professionalism while remaining vigilant against examination malpractice, disorderly conduct, and any form of security breach.
