Tinubu Approves 600-Room Hostel for Abuja Law School

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to immediately commence the construction of two hostels, each with a 300-room capacity, for the Nigerian Law School in Abuja.

The President also directed the construction of a road linking the Body of Benchers Secretariat in Jabi District with Nile University.

The FCT Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, said in a statement on Tuesday that the projects would be executed under an emergency consideration.

He disclosed that one female hostel and one male hostel, each with a capacity for 300 occupants, would be constructed to provide accommodation for students of the school.

The spokesperson added that the road, when completed, would ease traffic congestion on the route leading to the head office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
