The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced the postponement of the Screening Test for its 77 Regular Course, initially slated for Saturday, May 24, 2025.
This development comes in response to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s (JAMB) decision to conduct a rewrite of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in selected regions across Nigeria.
In a statement released by the Academy’s Public Relations Officer, Major Mohammed Maidawa, the NDA emphasised that the rescheduling was to uphold its commitment to fairness, equal opportunity, and to prevent the disenfranchisement of candidates affected by the UTME rewrite.
While a new date for the screening test has not yet been confirmed, the NDA assured applicants and the general public that updates will be communicated promptly through its official portal and verified social media platforms.
The statement reads in part; “The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) recently announced the rewriting of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) by candidates in some parts of the country.
