JUST IN: Rivers Governor Orders Probe of Outgoing LG Chairmen’s Tenure

Rivers Governor Siminalayi Fubara has directed the Auditor-General of the State to initiate probe of the tenures of the outgoing local government chairmen.

The Governor said the measure was intended to serve as a check for the incoming officials.

He urged the caretaker chairmen not to see themselves as superheroes, but to protect the interests of their people.
